What’s more fun than a bachelorette party? Not much if you ask me! When my friend Lana asked me to help style her best friend’s bachelorette a few weeks ago, I couldn’t resist and immediately jumped into planning mode.
Taking inspiration from Kate Spade (and this Kate Spade inspired dinner party), we pulled together a colour palette of black, white, gold, and pops of pink. The bride-to-be loves all things girly with a rustic touch, so we incorporated that where possible (read: mason jars).
We knew we wanted decor elements that were fun and unique, so we turned to Etsy. After some quality time spent searching, we made our selects and purchases. Tip: make sure you leave tons of time for Etsy packages to arrive – even though we ordered 3+ weeks in advance, some of our purchases didn’t make it in time for the party (that’s international shipping for you, I suppose!).
Here’s how it turned out…
What better way to start the night off than with a sassy and sweet cake?
Mini doughnuts transform into engagement rings with these fun toppers
Mason jars for a fun cocktail? Check! Striped straws? Check!
I love incorporating prints into party decor – plus you can keep and display after (or integrate into a gallery wall) for a memento of the event. Bonus!
The set up from the bride-to-be’s perspective when she walked in – surprise!
I love the end result – it was pretty, fun, and perfect for a girl’s night out! The bride-to-be was thrilled, so we couldn’t ask for anything more.
